Typically if you are in city limits—you are on sewer. Please check your water bill—If there is a sewage charge on your water bill—you are on sewer. You can also look on your street for manholes—which usually indicates you are on sewer.
If you have a well—you have a septic system. Look around your yard for a domed area under the grass or a tank lid and if you are not charged sewage on your water bill. Septic systems are typically found in unincorporated or country areas.
If you still cannot find—call your local Health Departments (land property department) and they can tell you. They should first check their water bill. A separate charge for sewage treatment appears only when property drains into City Sewer main for processing. Absence of sewage treatment charge is consistent with on-site septic systems.
